Introduction to Single use Bioreactor
The SKC600 Single-Use Bioreactor is specifically designed for cell culture applications. It utilizes a rocker platform to accommodate single-use suspension culture bags or single-use fabric carrier culture bags—both developed in-house by Bailun.
The system offers precise control over key culture parameters, including rocker speed, tilt angle, gas flow rate, temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), carbon dioxide (CO₂), oxygen (O₂) concentration, and weight.
The SKC600 supports interchangeable trays of various sizes to meet different process volumes. Optional tray configurations include:
10L tray: compatible with 2L, 5L, and 10L culture bags
20L tray: compatible with 20L culture bags
50L tray: compatible with 50L culture bags
This flexibility makes the SKC600 ideal for small- to mid-scale cell culture processes in research, development, and production environments.

The fabric carrier culture bags facilitate large-scale adherent cell growth. After culture, adherent cells can be enzymatically detached (trypsinized), harvested, and prepared as seed cells for subsequent processes or scale-up.
